Why you should keep posting?

When you have a blog site that deals with specific topics that you are passionate about, or that you have started to help promote your products and services, you should make sure that you keep posting all the time. This is important because you want to build up a strong relationship with your readers. It also shows the search engines and other websites that you are always active and not just some fly by night poster who got bored. It shows that you are serious about what you are doing.

It is also very important, once you have advertisers, that you post blogs regularly. They want to advertise on a website that gets constant traffic every day, and by posting new content all the time you are making sure that those regular readers keep coming back and using the website where they might click on your advertiser’s links and banners. It will also get you new readers all the time depending on the topics you post about, so this will also keep increasing your traffic. The more traffic you get, the more advertisers you will get. It is a win win situation.

How to Keep Content Fresh

• Blogging on certain topics all the time can become tiring. You might feel like you have no more ideas or that you are rehashing old ones. Well, there are a few ways that you can keep content fresh and tips for coming up with new ideas for blog posts. The first thing you will need to do is draw up a schedule. When you feel inspirational, or perhaps at the beginning of your blogging career, come up with a list of potential blog posts that are interesting and different.
• Another way you can keep posting new content is to work your blog into certain sections. For example, you could have personal stories, product information, tips and benefits for using certain products, news or current affairs stories, and more. In this way you are always posting something different and if you run out of products to talk about you can always find related current news stories, or personal interest stories to blog about.
• Another way of keeping the blog unique and active is to branch off topic slightly. If your blog is about babies and parenting, you can also include pregnancy issues, toddlers and older children, as well as teenagers. You might also want to post some blogs about and for grandparents.

These are just some ideas that you can use to make sure that you keep posting blog content all the time. You can make the posts as long as you like, so if you feel that you will run out of ideas you can always do two short posts instead of one long one. You can even separate an idea into a few posts and make a kind of to be continued blog which is also a great way of getting readers to come back continuously and to also subscribe to your RSS feed.
