What is a blog ?

Since the development of the internet there have been many new types of applications that have come and gone. Some worked some didn’t, and some made people money, and some didn’t, and some made more money than others. There are loads of ways to make money online. The best part of it is that if you work on the internet, you can work at home. Who does not want to work at home? Making money online is easy, you can do it as a freelance at what you currently do, or you can just use the internet to market a business that you own. Another way of making money online is by doing blogging.

Since the internet came into being the world has gotten a lot smaller. This is because it has brought so many people together. It is used as a communications hub. This is the one place that millions of people connect to everyday, and the one place that these people get into contact with the people they love. In the previous paragraph the word blogging was mentioned. You must by now be thinking about that word. So, what is blogging? Or what is a blog?

A blog is anything you want it to be, it is a letter, a note, a love story, a means of communicating, a journey, a way to let people know what you are up to, a marketing tool or anything else you can think of. A blog, or web log, is what you make it.

Blogging to Market

If you are looking to use a blog as a marketing tool, you will be happy to know that so many people use blogs instead of full websites to market their company. This can be done, but you will have to check with the website you are blogging with as to what is and is not allowed on their site.

Blogging to Communicate

So many people update their blogs on a daily basis. Blogs are widely used as a personal communication tool or application. It is a way of tell your friends and family what you are up to, how you are and what you plans are for the next few days. It is a ways of letting people know if you are still around. So you go overseas, you do not take a cell phone with you, and you do not want to make long distance calls. All you need to do is log into your blog, update your profile and every one of your friends will know what you have been doing.

The internet has definitely brought people from many different countries together. It has made is possible for people to communicate with people they do not know, people from different culture and countries, and even people from their own country that are interested in the same things they are. Blogging plays a use part in all of this, and there is no way blogging will be making an exits from the internet scene anytime soon.
