Infobarrel- is it a scam ? or another unreliable revenue share schemes?

Posted by Abdz - 27/09/09

Two weeks ago I had joined infobarrel to make some decent money from my adsense account, as I learned from the time “don’t put all of your eggs in one basket” .

So I tried their service by submitting three articles of mine, the first one was a clear text without any external link. And oppps, it was indexed by google the following day !

So I decided to submit another article that contains one external link (pointing to my blog) and guess what ? google didn’t indexed it;
was it a google fault ?
or was it infobarrel fault ? that time I didn’t guess whose this fault is ! so I decided to submit another article to know who exactly controls this.  ops ! it’s infobarrels fault !

They intended to do this, because they don’t want to lose some of their pagerank by linking to other websites ! sneaky  huh !

I decided to dig this more and I found that they don’t have a robots.txt file ! they even don’t have a sitemap for their website !

my advice is;  if you want to make money just for posting for infobarrel you could make some decent income. But if you want to get some backlinks you should not try their service,  it  sucks.

Plus they say that their revenue share percentage is 75% but in fact it is not !
I’ve added a google adsense URL channel to track my adsense ads on infobarrel before submitting any content ….. my first article was viewed more than 100 times and my adsense tracking channel was telling me that i have only (ONE impression) so you can expect that the real percentage is one for you – 99 for them ! bad guys

If you want to make money from your blogs here is my advice :
1- start a good niche blog
2- post your articles to ezinearticle & go articles with linkbacks to your blog’s posts

AND ta ra you will make money from any PPC network

What I am assuming is that infobarrel is not a scam but it is an unreliable revenue share scheme.

I think you might be a little misinformed. InfoBarrel does in fact give you 75% ad revenue and even up to 90% if you publish six 1000 word articles in a month. You can’t really make a conclusion based off of 3 published articles. You may be right about the backlinks but you are the only person to ever mention this, nobody else has complained. You might want to do a little more research and edit your article, some of the things you mentioned are just completely false and if you just would have spent a little more time on the site you would have realized it. i have backlinks in some of my articles and they are indexed just fine. Also, the InfoBarrel views are inflated due to Google bots, they have recently fixed the discrepency in views you see on InfoBarrel and views you see on AdSense. Just thought I would clear some issues up for you and anyone who reads this. InfoBarrel technically has the best ad revenue sharing program on the web, aside from MAYBE eHow (eHow’s algorithm is unknown and varies). You’d be lucky to get 50% on other article sites, InfoBarrel offers up to 90%, with a 75% minimum.

Infobarrel will make you cash, you just need to keep adding articles to it. Otherwise your revenue will not keep growing month and month.

Infobarrel is a numbers game, the more articles you have, the more money you are likely to make.

    I don’t agree with you !

I have heard about Infobarell that they keep on increasing the size of their articles. It started with 250 and now its a lot more.
